Children's Pieces

At left is a closeup of "Two Friends."

These are quilts that are either made for children or translated directly from children’s drawings. As an adult, it is nearly impossible to capture the whimsy inherent in children’s art work. I’ve taken a few of my children’s line drawings and have translated them exactly in proportion to their original drawings by using an overhead projector. Sometimes my children have changed the colors by choosing their own fabrics.
