The inspiration for this new series began in 2008 when I was asked to join a group of Lehigh Valley Jewish artists whose goal was to create a mixed media wall hanging in show of solidarity with our sister artists in the Yoav region of Israel. Our piece is displayed at the Beit HaBanim Regional Theatre in Kibbutz Kfar Menachem.

The other works in this gallery showcase a new textile technique I've been experimenting with-- of melting, fusing, and mark making in synthetic textiles with the use of a soldering iron. These works are different from my other pieces in that they are not quilts but collages meant for framing.
